Steve-O got hit in the face by a falling knife... after being encouraged by his girlfriend Stacey Solomon to take part in a dangerous dare - posting the bloody results to his Instagram page.
The Jackass star, who is well known for taking on risky stunts on the US show, lay underneath the knife which was stuck in the ceiling and waited for it to fall.
When it narrowly missed him the first time, he claimed that Stacey, 25, encouraged him to do try his luck once again, despite him feeling scared.

He captioned the video with the words: 'She told me to "stop being a p**sy" when I was scared to try it the second time. @staceysolomon #is #awesome #shemademedoit'
However, the 40-year-old daredevil came a cropper when the knife suddenly dropped and landed on his face, cutting his lip.
He wrote: 'This was filmed by my sweetheart, and she told me to "stop being a p**sy" when I was scared to try it the second time. @staceysolomon #is #awesome #shemademedoit.'
The clip ends with Steve-O proudly showing off his injury to the camera with a big smile on his face, in a move which should probably come with a 'don't try this at home' warning.

The couple have been battling a long-distance relationship with Steve-O returning home to Los Angeles in recent weeks.
However, Stacey told her followers about how excited she was that he was coming over to visit her once again via Twitter on Tuesday.
The giddy star wrote: 'Very excited! 1 more sleep! Yaaaaay @steveo.'

Meanwhile, Stacey has been busy promoting her latest record, Shy, which sees her return to the charts following a series of successful reality TV appearances.
'People always forget that I'm a singer, but I'm grateful that I got to do other stuff inbetween - and take my time on the album,' she said on the Gaby Roslin show.
'Still, I don't mind. I love performing and I'm so grateful to be here, although I'm nervous - but it's a happy nervous.'
